Payment questions, reservations, cancellations and recommendations

If you decide to cancel the tour, please read our cancellation policy here If the reason for cancellation is due to bad weather or our fault in any way, we will refund your deposit fully.

The weather in the Caribbean changes constantly, so even if the weather forecast says it will be cloudy, windy or rainy, stay calm!

It is very common that weather forecasters are wrong, or that it is rainy or cloudy on some parts of the island, while the weather is perfect on other areas. We have plenty of experience and use many sources to be informed at all times. We are also in direct contact with local authorities and will always make sure that you are safe.

If the weather is bad and it is not safe to go out on the yacht, we will inform you beforehand and as soon as we know, so as to try to reschedule your tour. If it’s not possible to reschedule, we will refund you 100%. We do not normally cancel due to rain unless it’s forecasted to rain all day. It is normal in the Caribbean to get some rain for a short period of time.

Contact us as soon as possible so we can do our best to reschedule you. If a reschedule is not possible, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • 70% refund when cancelled 14 days (or more) in advance
  • 50% refund when cancelled 7-13 days in advance

Non refundable when cancelled 6 or less days in advance

Being a private tour, you can do just about anything! However, here is a normal itinerary so you know what to expect:

  1. Departure from the marina at the time the reservation is planned
  2. Ride along the Western Coast of the Island heading South (40 – 60 minute ride approximately, depending on the weather and the yacht). Our crew can serve you drinks meanwhile if you wish.
  3. Arrive in El Cielo, a beautiful natural sandbar that is not deep (most people can stand on the sand).
  4. Spend time in El Cielo! Swim, snorkel or just hang out in the water. This is the fun and / or relaxing part of the tour.
  5. Our staff serve your lunch while you enjoy the breathtaking view.
  6. Ride back to the marina along the Western Coast of Cozumel heading North. (40 – 60 minute ride approximately, depending on the weather and the yacht).
No, but we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and bring you back after your tour has ended. To ensure this service, please let us know at least 2 days in advance. The price will depend on your pick up location. If you decide to take care of your transportation, please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour starts.
We will send you this information when you make your booking and also provide a way to contact us in case you have trouble finding the yacht.

We do our best to make it as easy as possible for you so you don’t need to bring much. We supply all the food and drink, so you don’t have to worry about this. Here is a list of what we recommend you pack for your tour.

  • Swimsuit
  • Towels
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen (please look for an option that doesn’t harm marine creatures)
  • Camera
  • Phone or mp3 player with good music
  • Long sleeve shirt to protect your skin from the sun
  • Any beach toys, balls, gear or flotation devices that will make you feel more comfortable or have more fun
Our yachts have their own playlists with a variety of music, but we recommend you bring your own device with music so that you enjoy the tour even more.
We do not ask for a tip, but we believe our service speaks for itself. This is entirely up to you, although people commonly tip around 10% of the cost of the tour. Any tip will be greatly appreciated.

We are constantly working to better ourselves, so knowing ways we can improve is always greatly appreciated. On the other hand, our reputation is everything to us, because good reputation means more people get to know us and therefore more people get to have the Mr. Yacht experience. You can find us on Facebook (Mr. Yacht Cozumel) and leave a review or Instagram @Mr.yacht.mx and leave a comment

The Mr. Yacht experience is great for people of all ages, and since it is a private tour, we do our best to personalize it and fit your needs. We have life vests for everyone onboard and shaded areas so your child or baby are safe and protected from the sun. The decision is yours, but please know that you will have to be responsible for your baby or child.
If you are more comfortable with your own, feel free to bring it along. However, we offer clean and sanitary snorkel gear on every yacht.
Absolutely. Although it is not a legal requirement to wear a life vest, we have them for all passengers in case they feel more comfortable with them.
We accept a variety of methods including: debit card, credit card, Oxxo deposits, PayPal balance, transfers to a bank account, PayPal branded debit and credit cards and PayPal Credit. You don’t need a PayPal account to pay through PayPal, you can use your debit or credit card through PayPal.
This is entirely up to you. However, we recommend you book as soon as you know you’re coming on the tour. It is important that you know that booking with little anticipation makes it more likely that the yacht that you wish to rent has already been booked.
We keep a list of every guest for the tour, so you only need to show us your confirmation email or receipt on your phone.

Of course! We understand some people are prone to motion sickness
We always try to choose routes with the least amount of waves to get a smooth ride and it’s always up to the clients if you wish to return to sheltered areas in the event someone in the group gets sick.

We always advise all clients, especially those prone to motion sickness, to take a pill like Dramamine before hand. We have Dramamine onboard and offer this to all clients who don’t want to take any chances.

Dramamine tends to work the best and has no side effects. Better to be safe than sorry!
